This term we have been discovering many reasons why we should be 'PROUD TO BE A KIWI!'
We have completed individual projects on places we have visited.
Today we drew our own pictures of our favourite Kiwi Icons using puff paint. It was loads of fun and the children did a great job. WELL DONE!

Ronald McDonald Comes to School

On Monday morning Ronald McDonald came to school to talk about road safety. He told a story about losing his red and white striped sock. He found it at our school. It was stuck to his back.

Unleavened Bread

In RE we are learning that the Eucharist is an important way of remembering Jesus. We made unleavened bread which is like the bread Jesus might have shared at the Last Supper. We enjoyed it with honey on it!

Spencer Park Beach

Today we had a fantastic trip to the beach. We learned all about how sand dunes are formed. We also learned how they protect the beach and how they need to be cared for.

There is an awesome park where we had lunch and played in the playground.

After lunch we went back to the beach for lots of digging. We had to watch out for waves!

There are lots more photos in the Media Gallery.
